What is a PoshBBQ outdoor kitchen pod?

A PoshBBQ pod is a complete outdoor kitchen delivered fully assembled on one pallet. It has an electric door that opens in 3.5 seconds by remote, a 304 marine-grade stainless steel interior, and a built-in grill, hood, sink, refrigerator and (on most models) an LCD TV. Four sizes from 2.20 m to 3.50 m. Delivered fully built internationally · US and EU freight quoted per destination.

How much does an outdoor kitchen from PoshBBQ cost?

Transparent starting prices, delivered fully built on one pallet:

  • A-Pro — from $13,500 (2.85 m, motorised awning)
  • A-Mini — from $16,500 (2.20 m, closed pod, no TV / hood)
  • A-Plus — from $21,500 (2.85 m, adds hood + 32″ TV)
  • A-Ultra — from $25,500 (3.50 m, 46″ grill, 42″ TV, wall cupboards)

Extras (46″ grill, larger TV, sintered stone worktops, wood-grain finishes, wine-glass holder, cover) are itemised on the configurator. Full formal quote in 2 working days from /enquire.

What is the best outdoor kitchen for a small garden?

For small gardens, patios and courtyards the PoshBBQ A-Mini (2.20 m) is the right fit — grill, sink, fridge, drawers and lighting behind an electric door, no TV or hood. For slightly bigger gardens the A-Plus (2.85 m) adds a range hood and 32-inch TV.

How long does delivery take?

35+ days build time from confirmed order · international freight added for the standard build · 45+ days for custom orders. The pod arrives fully built on one pallet; forklift and mini crane unload on site. Custom = built-in kamados, non-standard sizes, bespoke finishes, custom appliance layouts

What is the interior made of?

304 marine-grade stainless steel throughout — food-safe, corrosion-resistant, built to last decades. The frame is galvanised steel; the outer panel is a six-layer construction baked at 220°C for an automotive-grade finish that won't fade, peel or rust.

Do I need planning permission for an outdoor kitchen (UK, US and EU permit guidance)?

In most cases no — PoshBBQ pods sit on any flat surface and don't require foundations. For listed properties or conservation areas, check with your local council. Check with the PoshBBQ team who can advise on your specific site.

What appliances are included?

Every pod includes a gas grill (32" or 46"), stainless sink with pull-out tap, fridge, Blum soft-close drawers and LED strip lighting. The A-Plus and A-Ultra add an Italian range hood and LCD TV on a telescopic mount. The A-Pro has a motorised awning for open spots and semi-covered terraces.

How is it protected from harsh outdoor conditions?

The outer door is a six-layer panel baked at 220°C — the same finish class as automotive paint. Interior is 304 stainless. The pod closes when not in use, sealing everything inside. Aluminium honeycomb wall panels (aircraft-grade) provide insulation and rigidity.

Can I customise the pod?

Yes. 10 powder colours + 3 wood-grain finishes for the outside; powder-coated, wood-grain or sintered stone interior; SUS304 stainless or sintered stone worktop; extras like a wine-glass holder, wall shelves, built-in trash cabinet or waxed-cotton cover.

Where does PoshBBQ ship to?

PoshBBQ delivers fully built pods internationally across the US, Europe and worldwide. Worldwide delivery by arrangement. Formal quotes returned within 2 working days at Contact@poshbbq.co.uk.

Is a PoshBBQ pod good for year-round outdoor cooking year-round?

Yes — a PoshBBQ pod is designed as a year-round outdoor kitchen for UK conditions. The 304 marine-grade stainless interior, six-layer baked outer panel and remote electric door mean the pod closes up when it is not in use, keeping rain, frost and pests out. Cooking in winter is exactly the same as cooking in summer: press the remote, the door lifts, and everything inside is dry and ready.

What is an alfresco kitchen and does PoshBBQ make one?

An alfresco kitchen is a fully-equipped outdoor kitchen used for dining and entertaining outside. Every PoshBBQ pod is a luxury alfresco kitchen — built-in gas BBQ, sink, fridge, storage, worktop and (on most models) hood and LCD TV, all inside one weatherproof unit. Ideal for garden entertaining spaces, terraces and patios.

How does a PoshBBQ pod compare to a bespoke built-in outdoor kitchen?

A bespoke built-in outdoor kitchen typically means multi-week disruption, on-site trades and no fixed price. A PoshBBQ pod is a modular, plug-and-play outdoor kitchen — delivered fully built on one pallet, with published starting prices from $13,500. You get the same complete kitchen (BBQ, sink, fridge, hood, TV, storage) without a construction project.
